While every effort is made to avoid litigation, sometimes circumstances leave a client with no alternative but to resort to the court system or arbitration to resolve a dispute. When that happens, we strive to handle litigation in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We work closely with our clients to develop a discovery plan that seeks necessary and relevant information, but avoids unnecessary battles over insignificant or inconsequential matters. We balance the potential benefits to be gained with the cost of each action taken, and involve our clients in every step of the process. We recognize that the lawsuit ultimately belongs to the client and keep the objectives of the client paramount at all times. By doing so, we handle litigation in the most cost effective manner possible under the circumstances. While most cases settle, if a trial proves unavoidable we bring to the courtroom 30 years of jury and court trial experience in both the state and federal court systems. |
